If you've made the decision to become a MLM Infopreneur, I applaud you. Making
the decision to succeed is the first step towards achieving success.
You might be asking yourself, what do I do now? That's a good question. Let
me give you some easy-to-follow advice.
The first step towards becoming an infopreneur is to make a list of subjects you
are interested in. If MLM is your topic, you should find a specific "niche"
within the MLM industry. If you have another subject in mind, the process is no
different.
Once you have a topic, make a list of as many keywords as you can, that pertain
to that topic. For instance, if your topic was "Internet Marketing" some of
your keywords could be article marketing, video marketing, PPC marketing, ezine
marketing, etc. You get the picture.
Now that you have your list of keywords, research each keyword on Google's
Keyword tool to see how many searches are done each month for your keyword.
Ideally, you want a word with at least 5,000 monthly searches and up to 20,000+
searches. Keep in mind, you're looking for keywords with good monthly search
traffic that aren't overly competitive.
Once you find some "good" keywords, you next step is to do an internet search to
see who your competitors are. You need to find out what types of products are
already available. If there are already information products available,
purchase some or all of them. Read the information. Find out if they are high
quality and offer value.
If you happen to find a great product on your topic, you have a couple options.
You can simply promote that product, instead of creating your own. Or, you can
"spin-off" that product and create your own information product.
If you don't find any "quality" information products, you should create your
own product. To do so, follow these simple steps.
# 1 Set yourself a deadline of 7-30 days to finish the product.
# 2 Draft up a proposed Table of Contents with 8-15 chapters
# 3 Write 2-4 pages for each chapter in your table of contents
# 4 Finish writing
# 5 Proof read and edit
# 6 Have neutral party proof read and edit
# 7 Create a cover for your eBook
# 8 Format everything into a PDF file
# 9 You're done!
I've found that the longer deadline you give yourself to create a product, the
less likely you are to actually do it. One month or less is more than enough
time to research, draft, edit and finish an eBook.
Once you finish your eBook, your next objective is to create a sales page
and start marketing your eBook. That topic will be covered in another article.
